In this new chalet in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, the open kitchen stands out as the heart of the living area.

In this new chalet in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, the open kitchen stands out as the heart of the living space. Resolutely contemporary, it combines low furniture in matte black lacquer with a sumptuous countertop in black granite from Zimbabwe, for a graphic and refined result.
A true center piece, the AGA 4-oven cooker, which came from Belgium, has been beautified (the front face was replaced) to perfectly integrate into this new ambiance. Attached to this iconic object, the clients wanted to give it a second life within their new living space. In contrast, the green zelliges in the backsplash energize the whole area and add a handcrafted touch full of character.
In line with the kitchen, the fireplace area has been rethought around an old wood stove, highlighted by a cladding of matching zelliges, creating an aesthetic link between the two areas.
Upstairs, the mezzanine hosts a discreet and cozy office space, offering a workspace bathed in natural light while being connected to the life of the chalet.
