Bringing Color to Life

"In this house, I mixed styles and colors, while ensuring that I respected the original features such as moldings and frames. I favored dark blue in the common rooms. Blue feels very chic and rustic at the same time. I used a sunny yellow for the only bedroom that has access to the outside. Green decorates the room overlooking the garden. Blue brightens up the room under the roof where you can see only the sky. Pearl gray highlights the bathroom, making the red appear even more vibrant. I treated the garden-side rooms like cabinets of curiosities with a headboard wall and ceiling in color. One piece of advice: have a clear strategy and don’t try to mix things up too randomly."
