There are places ahead of their time, and the Café de Balme is one of them! Long before the trend of so-called concept stores, Hélène Roux and her team imagined the Café de Balme, a space dedicated to cooking in various forms. You can find a small restaurant area with about twenty covers, simple and pleasant, where you eat like at home; corners showcasing kitchen brands like Alki (tables and chairs), Jars (artisan tableware made in Drôme), Mauviel (pots and pans), Kvanum (custom Swedish kitchens), next 125 (custom kitchens), or even the famous Opinel; and of course the showroom displaying, among other things, magnificent AGA and La Cornue ranges, the star brand of the establishment, “symbol of the home spirit” according to Hélène Roux.
