A gallery for the kitchen

At Café de Balme, the cooks have never been just background. Every Saturday morning, the Aga and La Cornue stoves take the stage to show the one-day cooks, under the guidance of a chef, the extent of their ranges. In short, Hélène Roux's restaurant, located in the former bistro of an ancestor, delights the discerning palate and lovers of high-end stoves with coq au vin. However, for a few months, the already very decorated Café has taken the turn of interior design with two offices.
Café de Balme specializes in custom cuisine, exclusively featuring the brands Kvänum and Next 125.
With the entire La Cornue collection in full, the Café has received the La Cornue Gallery label.
“These stoves give a soul to the home,” explains Hélène. “In the mountains, we cook broadly!”
Not to mention the Rayburn wood stoves that, like in the past, cook and warm the room. A second design office, Les Montagnardes, advises you on the layout of your home or chalet. And to inspire you, they offer a very nice selection of objects and furniture on the first floor: luxurious accessories branded Le Loup Philosophe, which are unique pieces, Gervasoni and Verzelloni sofas, Gras or Foscarini lamps, Jars Céramistes tableware, Libeco bedding…
